Snapshots on the Lake!

Everyday as I look out the windows of our cottage I see beautiful things. Today I wanted to share some of that beauty with you.
Just before sunrise!

I loved these low lying clouds.

Our resident Heron.
He is so cool to watch flying over the lake. His wing span is amazing!

The Loon's that come to visit in the Spring and Fall.

The geese with their goslings.

Luke and I were having lunch when he spied this dragonfly on one of the plants in our window box.

The boys found this garden spider down on our beach. I have never seen one before on our property.
This is the bottom of the spider.

This is the view from the top.
I love the zig-zag pattern they make in their web. I am not a huge spider fan but this guy/gal was pretty cool!

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Thanks for the reminder that there actually is life outside of a workstation cubicle.

The spider truly shows engineering at its best, in the most simplistic and complex of forms.
Crazy of what the smallest of creatures can accomplish.
    The sunrise --inspiring!
You captured such a breath taking moment, in your photography.
Nice way to wake up and start the day -- would be a nice gift framed for the corporate drone who enfys you:)
