Divide and Conquer!

This past weekend was a busy one with both boys having Birthday parties to attend. The only problem was that they were 30 miles apart. The hubby and I decided to divide and conquer this weekend.
I drove Jack to his party as he was very excited to attend his second one here.

This is a group shot before they entered (the birthday boy is the extremely psyched one in the middle).
They are a great group of kids.
My Jack is the only blonde in the group!

All of the kid's had a great time and Jack is already asking when we can go as a family.

After Luke's party (sorry no pictures because I had the camera) he and his dad set to work and made some creations on the beach.

Saturday nights at our house during the winter we have movie night with the kids.
We usually have a "chicken plate" or homemade pizza. We like it because it is very informal and relaxing after a long week.

The boys have really laughed lately over these two movies.

I cherish these nights with my boys!

The Bachelorette!

I am a hopeless romantic and wish everyone could find their true love. With that said, I cannot resist watching the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. They have me hook line and sinker. Last night was the season premier with Ashley as the Bachelorette. She is cute, sweet and smart. How can you not love her? Here is a recap in case you missed it.
She looked gorgeous in this dress valued at $20,000 (via the possessionista). Yes, it was just a loner. I was a bit nervous when some of the guys were picking her up and twirling her around. Yikes!!!

Jeff and his mask?

Tim had a little too much to drink. She did the right thing sending him home.

And then there's Bentley. When a friend calls and tells you he his not there for the right reasons you really need to listen to their advice. Watch out for that one. Looks can be deceiving.

I can't wait to see what is in store next week!
