Two years ago I received this box for Christmas from my husband. It was not so much the box that was special but what was inside.
Rules for Christmas Promises
One envelope a month.
Must be opened in front of him.
He would complete the Christmas promise before the end of that month.
I loved the thought that went into it and that it was a gift that kept on giving all year long.
It is still one of my most cherished gifts.
Last year I made this picture for my hubby with all the road trips we had taken before we had children. I still love seeing those memories every day.
Shhhh! This one is still a secret.
This year I made my in-laws a calendar of all the dogs in the Family.
Some of the pages have cute dog quotes I found on the internet.
Jewerly always works!
These baby shoes were another thoughtful gift my hubby gave me. The first one we found in Lake Placid on one of our trips but by the time Luke was born I was to be disappointed. The company was rather difficult to work with so the jeweler stopped carrying the line. Being resourceful, my hubby took the origial shoe to our local jeweler and they were able to make something similar. It was a huge surprise.
Then there is always a thoughtful gift from a child.
Both of my children have now made these in their kindergarten classrooms. Luke was so excited to bring his home this year because now he has one like his big brother!
